Many of you know by now that our TV is changing, at least how we recieve our programming. You probably know that the only people affected are those who are not connected to a cable and use bunny ears for reception. Many organizations are encouraging people to get the coupons available and donate them to senior living facilities. Many older people only have the TV to keep them company. Please help out if you are not using your coupon and give it to someone who can benefit from it. Call ahead to make sure the facility has a need in your neighborhood, or help an older or otherwise unknowing family member or friend in the neighborhood. Here is the site https://www.dtv2009.gov/ Unfortunately, the coupons need to be ordered today (I just noticed that!), give if you are able. Thank you!

Ever wonder if your bookkeeping is accurate? The simple fact that you have someone ”doing the books” does not mean you have accurate, sound data. I had a client who was oblivious to the severity of her situation until she went to get an additional business loan to expand her company. She not only discovered inaccurate accounting, but also fraud. She was out tens of thousands of dollars because she wasn’t checking her finances. She trusted her bookkeeper implicitly. In many studies, fraud has been reported as the biggest problem among small businesses. Small business owners typically trust the person they hire to do the books, but you-the business owner-are ultimately responsible for providing accurate accounting data to the IRS. Contact me for a free analysis (with no obligation) of your QuickBooks data file. Let’s work together to help you keep and grow what you earn, you deserve it. You work hard for your money, do everything you can to protect your business. No great work is done alone.
